POEM 271: TOXICITY
"walk your walk and don't look back"
Temi's voice echoed once again

I am tempted to turn around,
just one more glance

but the stern expression of her voice
was punctuated with a jot.

and the strong tone of her face
was wrapped in harsh sound waves.

"walk your walk!
                y o u r walk!!
                              your w a l k!!!"

...and I did take a walk away from toxicity.
