POEM 213: TARILA
there are times when angles look down on earth with disgust
there are times same angels look down and drool

first instance could be Sodom or Benue
could be Aleppo or Aluu

second instance is Tarila
why?

she is the touch of fire on coal
that makes black lit up and glow

she's the cap of ice on Everest
that gives the sky a run for calmness

she's the Eiffel tower of ancient beauty
that stirs to heat non laid monks

she's the favorite word on the lips
of every insecure housewife down the street

she's the sleeping thoughts of the nerd
who never gets to get a head

she's a spinster
my name on her lips and I spin round on floating axis

thee are times when angles look down on earth with disgust
there are times same angels look down and drool

first instance, Tarila and I
a goddess and a man?

second instance, Tarila and I
a goddess made god her man.
