POEM 147: GALAXIES IN YOUR EYES

What is pleasure? My lady inquired.
I locked fingers with hers
and with the tongue of many waters
whispered these into her lips about the galaxies:

Pleasure is staring at the stars hard and long
Until I floats in your eyes all night long.

Pleasure is holding the moon in my arms
Caressing her contours
with the trembling hands of a seafarer
Sailing an ocean your allure
until your eyes in nightly glow
captures mine like water flow
is trapped in a dam,
wrapped in my arms
until I get lost in your galaxies of emotions.

Pleasure is earth fallen into a dark universe
yet glowing in a galaxy of lights
with every fall
every thrust.
