POEM 124: TEARS

Tears,
let it downpour on my laps
from the cloudy sky of my eyes.
Drench down to the soul of my feet.
Soak me up until my sole can no more fit
into this box where fears imprison me.

Tears,
let it slash through the dark corners of my heart
like lightening in rainstorm.
Throw some light here, there, everywhere
where cracks line the walls of my heart
until darkness finds no spot to hide.

Tears,
let it roar like the thunder
and shake the core of my anxiety
with thunderous claps of mockery
until this tint of melancholy
peel away to unveil the song of victory.

Tears,
let it rain, for rainbow lines
soon shall my sky line.
