It's my pleasure to announce the official launch of my second collection of poems 'Sweetness'.  All thanks goes to God, who's the first poet and punster ever liveth, never dieth.

About Book:

Sweetness is an affectionate name for someone I loved. She was everything sweet, so much I always nod my head (as if saying hello), along with an elongated blink of her eyes, while pouting out her lips slightly for kisses we ne'er had.

‘Sweetness’, a collection of 43 poems was birthed from a series of poems I scribbled while the ripple effect of a sweetness overdose lasted.

Like you already know, I wouldn't serve sour wine. This is a rich collection of 43 poems narrating the rise and fall of love like tidal waves on a long journey to sweetness.

It's a mixture of WOW! AWN! and AW! A great read, I guarantee you.

Appreciation:

Special thanks to my family who has supported me immensely. Much love!

My gratitude goes to my mentor Phunso Oris for professionally editing and proofreading this book even when I made him do so under duress.

Special thanks to Jide Badmus, you're a brother indeed. Thanks for the final editing and reviews. You did a great work even in a short notice.

Comments:

"Bold, beautiful and blissful poems! Themes well crafted, sensuously satisfying, without overburdening the thematic conceit."  - Funso Oris

"Reading SWEETNESS is like snacking on a plate of heart-shaped candies. The language employed in these short delectable verses is simple; and the message is like a kiss-stamp on a pink postcard. This collection of poems promises to take you on a tour of lyrical beaches to see beautiful sunsets. The imagery is vivid, easily relatable! This book will make you yearn for love and the sweetness of romance." - Jide Badmus (Author, There is a Storm in my Head)

Sweetness is edited by Funso Oris and Jide Badmus and published by Prose & Poetry Hood.
